Proctored Mock Testing
Mock testing gives students the chance to practice time management, build test endurance, and tackle test anxiety in a simulated testing environment. All of our mock tests include a detailed score report. Mock tests and reports are available to all students, regardless of whether they use City Smarts for other services.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY CHILD'S SCORE REPORT?
Students will receive a detailed score report no later than Thursday at 11 a.m. If your child works with a City Smarts tutor, we will also deliver the score report to him/her.
Students taking the SAT will receive their score immediately and can access their score report via a dedicated student portal.
WHEN SHOULD MY CHILD SHOW UP?
Brooklyn Annex: Please arrive at 337 Smith St. no earlier than 8:45am and no later than 9am. All materials are included.
Manhattan Classroom: Please arrive at 11 Hanover Sq. STE 500. no earlier than 9:45am and no later than 10am. All materials are included.
WHAT IS INCLUDED ON MY REPORT?
Our score report includes an overall performance assessment, content-area break down, and various instructional recommendations.
WHAT TESTS DO YOU USE?
City Smarts uses a mix of officially released and proprietary exams for testing.
If your child has already taken official tests, please let us know which ones, and we will make sure to proctor something they haven’t seen.
City Smarts offers the digital adaptive SAT and digital ACT using a custom testing platform that replicates the features of the official exams.
DO YOU ACCOMMODATE EXTRA TIME?
We are currently able to accommodate 1.5x time. We are unable to proctor 2x or multi-day tests.
CAN I HAVE A COPY OF THE TEST?
In most cases, we are happy to provide a copy of the test. With tests that we have designed, however, we may elect to only share select problems.
HOW DO I CHECK-OUT?
After selecting the desired date on the calendar, click the date in the text box to be taken to the check-out page.
I HEARD THE ACT IS CHANGING. DO YOU OFFER THE NEW TEST?
Yes! We currently offer both the old and new ACT. Just like the official test, the new ACT is available in both digital and paper formats. Parents can select their preferred format at checkout.
The new ACT allows students to choose whether to include the science section. At this time, we proctor all four sections of the new ACT, but we will soon offer the option to take either the core test (without science) or the core+science version.
